Patch Notes - April 22, 2026
Star Trucker has been updated to v1.73
This update adds two major features - Business Ventures and Interior Customization. It also includes fixes for some long standing bugs alongside job generation improvements and other QoL adjustments, optimizations and fixes.

Business Ventures
A new system that allows players to unlock “Ventures”. Each venture provides a set of procedurally generated jobs and gifts the player a range of rewards for progressing.

Light Fix Jobs - Fix broken light units
Graffiti Cleanup Jobs - Remove unwanted graffiti
Dead Drone Jobs - Refuel drones

Beyond Lv.30 you can earn a Venture title
A Venture title can be kept alive by continuing to level up (infinite levelling loop)

Interior Cab Customization
We’ve updated your Star Truck to allow a variety of interior customizations. This feature can be accessed at any time after the tutorial via the new artwork found above the workbench.

Players can now use buttons on the arm rests to adjust the height and position of their seat
Seat position is saved per save slot rather than globally
Custom bindings can be set for adjusting height and position
Job Generator Improvement
Optimizations "should" mean less / no stutter on warp exit
Job board should show more freight from around the galaxy
Fixed issues with XP calculations being wrong
Bug Fixes
Fixed issue where asteroids could occasionally appear during warp causing unexpected collisions
Fixes issue where your truck could drift out of position when it should be stationary
Fixed issue where queued shop items would never spawn after reloading a save
Fixed issue with large pipe artwork used in some sectors
Fixed the incorrect spelling of Techtrove Electronics signage in Darkside
Fixed some missing strings on the custom binding pop-ups
Misc
Game menu tab options have been reordered to accommodate Ventures
Truck interior has had a lot of adjustments and updates to account for interior customizations
As you can imagine this update touches on almost every element of the game and although we’ve spent a lot of time, energy and dollar testing it there’s bound to be some niggles.
